FONORA TEXTILE INC., an associated company of
Aronoff Brothers ltd, together has been in business for over 70 years.
In 1985, Fonora began a program of packaged cloths derived from the waste goods of the textile industry. Until this time, very little was being done in the industry to promote the use of new material wiping cloths at the consumer retail level.
Fonora's philosophy was to use its 70 years of experience serving industry to derive a complete line of packaged cloths, segmented to popular uses, in the automotive, hardware and Housewares departments. By applying marketing approaches rather than selling, Fonora has achieved an average growth of 35% for the last five years.
To maintain this high rate of growth, we look to continue our close relationships with retailers and industry.
Quality control was a term very seldom used in the wiper business until several years ago. Industry standard was to fill a bag of rags to special weights of 8oz or 16oz and sell it "as is". Since Fonora is both in the wiper and recycling business, we are not forced by economic reason to sell scrap filler to the retail trade. Fonora has created a new standard of specifying # of pieces per specific weight (i.e. 4 pieces / approx. 8 oz.) Now a consumer can look at a product offering and realize it contains equal portion pieces compared to the old standard of large pieces and small scrap to meet weight requirements.
As a manufacturing and marketing company Fonora Textile Inc. is extremely successful at achieving the promotional activities of the customer. Although we offer a complete product assortment, the key to success in our industry is that of remaining flexible to the customers changing needs.
